Found out that Sharp is going to release a phone (or a smartphone). Whats odd about it? OS is not going to be Windows Mobile, itt's going to be Windows Vista. Here are some specs, images and price. Phone is not on the market bu available for preorder i guess, for $1,500+
LOL what a bad idea. Your phone would be really slow and over complicated. Also the price is a bit steep.
Yeah, but i think it will be little faster if we will consider the fact that you dont really need to waste much of video memory, display is small, this is a big factor, anyways, while i dont want this phone due to price, i would like to touch it and what it looks like
If you think Microsoft is gong to bundle the same Vista on the phone, you're all dumb. Did you know the iPhone runs on OS X. It is a scaled down version. Same with this phone.
Wow you are so genius, OS X is a platform for operating system, latest ipod are also base on OSX, so what? It's not going to be scaled down that much to notice, ofcourse it will have another hardware configuration, but the operating system is still Windows Vista.
If you are talking about handheld mobile device then vista can't be loaded. vista does not support network functionaly expected by device network and transmission
Even Vista having alots of Problem in PC , then how it will run on Mobile, It will lead bad performance of the phone , and will be prompt memory probelms while running different tasks simultaniously
There are devices like http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_shift-1934.php Code (markup): HTC Shift which runs on Vista , these devices are classified as UMPC [Ultra Mobile PC] , there is a http://www.1800pocketpc.com/2008/02/26/ubuntu-mobile.html Code (markup): Linux version going to be available as well
Aye, when smartphones have quad core processors and 4gigs of RAM, then Vista might possibly be an option. Until then - imagine being stuck behind a tractor, with no chance to overtake, for 100 miles. Then you'll understand
That was not directed at you. It was directed at the second post on this thread. Sorry I should have used quote.
