What About Using Serial Storytelling as a Marketing Method?

I ask, but I am also trying the method out on one of my sites. I have a site that was (And still is) for my Copywriting business, however what I have done is put a blog on the main site, and in that blog I am posting the chapters of a story I have been working on for awhile - A science fiction fantasy bit.

The idea is to have ads posted on the site, at the ends of the chapters - in some cases dealing with items that may be in the story (example: Absinthe, or cigars) as well as general advertisements (Home Based Business Software and opportunities).

Just wondering what anyone thinks about that... thanks.

BTW: if you want to read the story, it's at mckeecopywriting . com

Hey, are you using the stories as a way to draw traffic for your copywriting business?

Both - the ads link to a review site I have that reviews and recommends a variety of products, but if I get a copywriting job as well, that is bonus, of course.

I've had the same thought about releasing a story that would be delivered a chapter a week. I thought that having the readers vote on what direction the story should take would help ensure they came back week after week.

    Great idea
