    Hi there,

I have a YouTube video download site. It just contains a header, a text area where you enter the link and a button (it's got no text content). Is it okay to put AdSense there because there is no text content? And is it illegal to offer a service where people can download YouTube videos?

    Thanks.

Well, downloading the videos is against the YouTube ToS, and Google owns YouTube, so they might frown on that. It likely also breaks Adsense policies as well, because you would be enabling the downloading of videos without the permission of the copyright holder. And AdSense does require some kind of text to determine which ads to serve. So overall I don't think that's a great idea.
