What about the spammers that...

What do we do about the spammers that make there spam PM's look legit? I'm getting a bunch of spam and they make them look like I requested the info from them and I report them and there not getting deleted.

 

Report them. It's up to a moderator to decide what punishment, if any, to dole out. We do not automatically ban someone for sending an unsolicited PM (unless they're a known spammer who keeps creating multiple accounts or a phisher). So the user may have received the 5 point spamming infractions. You wouldn't know it one way or the other, as most users aren't banned until hitting 10 infraction points. As for "deleting," you have to delete your own PMs if you don't want to see them. Moderators have no access to the PMs you've received unless you've forwarded them, and we do not have access to delete things from your box.
