What about independent films?

Seems like all the movies these days are either sequels, prequels, cartoons, video games, or remakes with special effects and action every twenty seconds. They're okay, but I think the plots are getting a bit redundant.

I'm thinking about watching more independent films. I think I maybe saw one my in my whole life. Are they any good or are they just B films? Seeing a unique plot does interest me, but I don't know if that's all they are.

I am confident independent films can produce quality movies too. I have seen some of them and they are worth watching.

 

yes, although i just saw movie trailers for this movie, but i can see it is a good movie.

 

Indie films are good. I have watched lots of indie films and I enjoyed it.
Most of their stories were based on the real life.

 

If you are looking for a quality story, you're looking in the right place. I recommend Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet are brilliant.

 

Amelie from Montmartre is my all time favorite! I love those independent movie about warm love story.

 

I like indian independent movies and love stories like (LAGAAN.....VEER)

Many independent films are great to waatch than the real movies that are loosing views of real movie goers...
Movies nowadays aren't that good like 90s and early 2000s

 

Sorry, I haven't seen any Independent movie.

 

I don't think any of the Independent films I have seen have been very good.

 

I love them. They have such great plots, and don't rely to heavily on special effects. 

 

City Of God is a great Movie.
