What about (dot)me domains?

    Simple question:

    Can I rank a .me domain in google or yahoo in any country as for .com or .net?

    If so is it penalized compared to .com .net?

    .me is generally used for personal domains i think.if you want to rank country wise its better to use the country domain and use the hosting in your country.If its not available then try to go for others like .info

    Well, I know that .me is for Montenegro. So instead my question could be:

    Can any country specific domain like .ca, .uk, .fr rank in Google.COM and Yahoo.COM if the user is from another country like the US for example?
