What About Classifieds?

  1. #1
    I just spent about $20 on 2 different classified sites. 1 For premium ad placement ($16.00) and and another just to have my ad placed on every city($3).

    All I am trying to do is giveaway some software and a report, and all they have to do is sign up.(list Building)

    That was 4 days ago, and I have absolutely NO Sign ups. Am I doing something wrong, or are classifieds totally useless?

    It depends upon your ad type and classifieds site's traffic for your category.

    It depends on the site, if its not strictly technology related I doubt there are many people looking for whatever your giveaway is. I had a lot of luck with bum marketing on CL before they got really anal.

    No need to spend money as you can market it in better way for sign ups.

    While there is good number of potential classified sites available one should always go for free submission to taste the market, can you name out the classified site where you placed your ads?

    I never really get a lot of traffic from the. I stick to blogs, directory submissions and building links.
