Hmmm, so I've been looking through azoogle and copeac for good offers to advertise via PPC, and there are just no offers. The highest converting and paying offers are related to ringtones and weight loss. I despise the trickery ringtone companies use to make money, and all the weight loss offers are just bogus (like those pills that say you can lose 12 pounds in 2 days ). I don't know why I posted this, but it's a shame that all the successful offers are the ones that are most hurtful to the users of them. I just wouldn't feel right knowing that my ads are getting people locked in to contracts for ringtones, and depressed about the weight loss sites not actually helping them.
CJ and Linkshare have good merchants, you can also find some good inhouse programs to promote. You should always attempt to work directly with a merchant if possible in order to gain knowledge of the products or services, ask for keyword files, custom creative, web templates, and also to beat them up about higher payouts!
Yeah, I use CJ, and they're great for SEO traffic, but I'd really like to get into PPC. Most of the margins with PPC and CJ seem too low, although I'll guess I'll look into it more.
Yet so many people idolize the sleaze bag affiliates who have made a fortune promoting those deceptive offers. I have zero respect for those people.
