Hey SEO community! It’s 2025, and SEO is evolving faster than ever. From AI-generated content to search intent optimization, the landscape is shifting rapidly. I’m curious to know what strategies are working for you at the moment. Let’s make this a valuable thread where we share tips, tools, and real outcomes. Here are a few discussion points to get started: Are backlinks still giving strong results? How are you using AI (like ChatGPT) for SEO? Which tools are you relying on in 2025? (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Surfer, etc.) Are you noticing changes in how Google ranks content? Feel free to share your wins or even what’s not working anymore. Let’s learn from each other.
right now, i'm seeing solid results from updating old content and focusing more on topical authority than chasing backlinks. ai (chatgpt) helps a lot with drafts, outlines, and even clustering keywords faster. i still use ahrefs and gsc daily, but also testing low-cost tools like neuralseo. one big shift i’ve noticed: google seems to prefer deeper, more useful content even if it's not the most optimized .. user intent really matters now.
Yes, I think it still has positive results. I bought Dofollow backlinks from unknown addresses to my newly opened websites. After 7 months, backlinkler upgraded sites. Of course, this doesn't always have to be positive
Oh, great topic! Backlinks still work, but they’re not the “magic sauce” they used to be — now it’s more about content quality and how well it matches user intent. I use ChatGPT as a helper: quick drafts, structure, sometimes ideas for FAQs. For keyword and competitor analysis, I’m still on Ahrefs and Surfer. Google’s getting pickier — feels like it’s reading between the lines more, especially in YMYL niches. And pure AI content often flops without edits. So yeah, the human touch still wins
I use ChatGPT every day, I work with it to discover new ideas on SEO as well as fine tuning content and copy to make it more keyword friendly. I know the kind of content my audience like but not sure what keywords are trending. I Can't afford Semrush or Ahreps so I have used SEObility, SEOptimer and Pagespeed and found them pretty helpful, I also try and use Google Keyword Lookup. Everything I have read about and seen tells me that "High Quality" backlinks are extremely important for ranking higher with Google, and that too many "Low Quality" spam backlinks with get you penalised by Google, so I am staying away from buying high volume cheap backlinks and trying by best to build some organically by posting high quality content on my website and looking into guest posting on blogs. My SEO is really good with regards to my website but with a DA of 0 because, I have a new site and no backlinks yet (at least not showing up yet) I don't think I will be ranking for any keywords until my DA improves. But only time will tell I guess.
Link building still works. Well structured and useful content(which actually helps) with internal and external resource linking will work wonders. If your article or websites ranks and is well structured, you will be referenced in AI suggestions. Focus on local seo as well. Keep it simple, let people know what your blog, product is worth and how it can solve your problem as when people search they need simple precise answers. Address that and everything works good.
Let's start like this: For content, I decide what to write with my Gemini AI assistant, but I'm generally interested in audience analysis, user intent, and what is read more. Writing a piece of content, even with AI, can sometimes take me 5 hours. Therefore, I stay away from AI-generated content created with automation as much as possible, and I use personalized Gemini for content... For tools, I use Semrush Group because I can find it at an affordable price; otherwise, I would prefer Ahrefs. Apart from that, I sometimes use ChatGPT for deep research. For data analysis in content, I use NotebookLLM. I use RobotAlp for Uptime Monitoring, and I also use RobotAlp for keyword monitoring to track the backlinks I purchase. As for my technique besides this, I do as many social backlinks or brand shares as possible, and I produce content that cannot be created with AI automations. I stay away from expensive sponsored articles.
Well in my case its the old and principal objective : to make people stay as much as they can on your website If they do this it gives google engines a signal that your site has high value to the user
