What’s the difference bewtween PageRank and ToolBar PageRank?

    Can anyone explain me the difference bewtween PageRank and ToolBar PageRank? :confused:

    I think you mean, what's the difference between actual PageRank and Toolbar PageRank. Actual PageRank is the internal metric used by Google for each site. From what we know (those of us not deep within the Google complex), it's constantly updated and is what's actually used in the ranking algorithm, along with other factors. Toolbar PageRank is only updated every few months, as Google exports a snapshot of the current state of a site's PageRank that the Google Toolbar and other tools can query. If people don't use a descriptor before the word "PageRank" then they are most likely talking about Toolbar PageRank.

    There is no difference between the two. You use tool bar to check PR.

    so maybe you mean dif. between pagerank and siterank/trustrank/...??

    Page rank is an honorable position of a page which is given by Google for a web page when it update its back links. Page rank tool bar where we can see what is the rank of a web page.

    even I agree with this... there is no difference... both are same... I mean this is a strange question.... never even thought of it before... but must say thats an intelligent thing to ask .... oh!! my m soooooooo confused.... :confused:

    Toolbar pagerank and pagerank are the same,you can use toolbar to check the pagerank of a site,that is toolbar pagerank.

    page_rank and pagerank are different
    do not confuse with page_rank and pagerank
    pagerank is also a TM
