    Hey guys and girls,

I am looking for some input in regards to what most of you are looking for in an affiliate program. Of course, content is king, but what features are you looking for? Are delayed stats a problem for you? And so on…

Great input, thank you. What type of payment method do you like / would you like, for payouts?

Thanks for your input! What form of communication do you prefer? E-Mail? Ticketing systems? Phone? IM’s?

I do have to agree with you, honesty is an important factor.

Chat support would be best. Email makes me think "I wonder when they'll finally get to responding" while phone is a little too personal at times. Even though both shoud be an option, the enphasis should always be on live chat!

    - Fast approval times (sometimes you don't hear back for over a week!)
    - 2 tier commissioning (found some on SAS!)
    - Feeds
    - Variety in creatives

Well, it is definiately time for me to go to bed.

I have been up for nearly 16 hours now and have just noticed my mistake in my previous post. I meant to say "Good Tracking Software" and not "Google Tracking Software"

Also, I don't know what I meant by "Online Payments" so I will onw change that to "low minimum payouts".

Many of our affiliates like the whole live chat things as well, there is a problem however, as it isn’t easy to control. Maybe something like LivePerson, but most affiliates want MSN / ICQ contacts…

    Thanks for your input!

Fast approval; interesting point. I wouldn’t know a reason not to have an automated approval process. 2 Tier, you mean that you can refer other affiliates… right?

2-tier. Yep thats correct. I program where you can refer other affiliates / publishers to your affiliate and once they sign up through your affiliate link and they then start earning money you will then receive a percentage of their earnings.

Most affiliate programs pay 2 tier referrals of 5% - 10%. Sometimes I see some offering more 2nd tier referrals earnings percentages than the actual first tier earnings percentage.
