Your CTR doesn't matter. Your conversation rate matters. If I have a 1% CTR with a 25% Conversation rate, then it's much better then having a 10% CTR with a 5% Conversation Rate.
Depends on how you look at it 10k impressions at 1% CTR @ $1 CPC = 100 clicks - 25% conversion = 25 sales @ $4 per conversion 10k impressions at 10% CTR @ 1 CPC = 1,000 clicks - 5% conversion = 50 sales @ $20 per conversion So now you need a balance between volume and ROI to make the most amount of money because $50 profit - $4 ad cost * 25 sales = $1150 but $50 profit - $20 ad cost * 50 sales = $1500 however $30 profit - $4 ad cost * 25 sales = $650 but $30 profit - $20 ad cost * 50 sales = $500 the answer is all in the numbers
Well said RichUser... your CTR does not matter. It differs from industry to industry. In some a CTR of .5 is considered way better against 10% for some other industries. All that matters is conversions and your ROI
