    Hello,

is that your first attempt at a website ?

Put more effort in the header and the colors and placment of your site. reconsider the size of your font

To be honest it looks like a mess currently, but if its your first try then its okay maybe use a blogsystem or portal system with premade themes which you can try to edit.
Otherwise play around abit, take a look at other successfull sites and check out their design and stuff

    Regards

OK - this will probably be more than you really wanted to hear but here goes :)

I know you are probably really tied to the header cause you did it yourself and you are really proud of it. And you should be proud of it cause you aren't a graphic designer. It is colorful and I do like the font myself but it doesn't look professionally done. If you head over to the buy sell trade portion of this forum you'll find graphic designers who can do one for you at a very reasonable rate (like less than $30.00).

You can keep the colors and the font if you wanted but you'll find that they have software programs that are far and above what us mere mortals can produce.

You should also probably heed the research that's been done on the color backgrounds and font colors. Basically the sites that convert the best - and that's probably what we're all after - are white or near white backgrounds with black or near black text. Boring I know - but also what people are used to reading and not hard on the eyes.

Make the page centered and about 750-800 pixels across. That's about the size of an 8 1/2 sheet of paper - why mess with a good thing?

Take a look at your optin box on the left side - it comes out of the box and spills out into the text in the content area.

The color of the hyper links on the page navigation should either look more like navigation or be that boring blue navigation color that people are used to.

Unless you really want people to contact you frequently I'd move the contact us to the last in the navigation where people are used to seeing it.

Add navigation (or make it more obvious cause I couldn't find it) from the blog to the home page again.

And you can probably pick up some nice website template that will give your site a more professional look. What you have up now would have worked just fine about 10 years ago but today readers are more sophisticated and the templates are easily accessible and not expensive.

I really don't want to come across as harsh but I can see you put some real effort into building the site and probably want to have some success with this affiliate marketing. Try making changes and then test them with unique traffic.

    Hope it helps!

    Gail

Well I really don't know what to add...I would suggest looking around at some other blogs with similar themes as yours, so you can get an idea of what you want yours to look like. The site really doesn't have any shape now, so maybe getting ideas from other, very well-designed blogs could help you out.
