    http://www.barponline.com is a gigantic mmorpg in perl.

    When I say gigantic, we mean it!

    +30K players since 2002
    ~300 active players

    About the game: It's a similar game to final fantasy 1 or dragon warriors serie on nintendo ... remember Nintendo? With a little mix of MUD, MUSH
    The player create a character, walk around the world, fight monsters, do quest, and interact with other players.

    The game has about 100 maps (include world maps, cities, dungeons, etc)
    2208 pieces of equipment
    85 monsters
    17 guilds
    Multiple races
    ~5000 different tiles

    Only works on IE ... however, converting it to work with firefox wouldn't be too hard ... we use document.all.name instead of document.getElementById() ...

    However, other immortals improved it ... you will see if you take a look.

    There is player hierarchy ...
    Creators = me (Roulares) and Fizban with full access to all the tools
    Gods = Can create world, maps, quest
    Immortals = Sponsored by Gods
    Helpers = Can help players around
    Normal Players = They are the players ... they play the game.

    Yep, please do try the game ... I am in no hurry. Been having the game for years now ... can wait before to sell it. Check the game out ... and ask the players inside the game. If you see immortals .. ask them too.
