Correct, you can only promote one URL. And the website is also a big lagger. You do get to choose which sites to stumble, though. My point was that suExchange is not easy enough to use, I don't really feel like spending more than 30 seconds working out how to use a website.

This is indeed a good and simple way to exchange stumbles and I dont kow why all the stumble requests in 'freebies' dont just join.

The hardest thing is to spend my points - we need more sites and members.

    suexchange join it now

    Cool concept...

Can anyone point me in the right direction to learn about stumbling... Never really heard of it until today. I read the wikipedia entry, but still not sure what it is/does...

    Thanks

Interesting..I have been using AVUW and Stumblexchange for awhile but they both have their shortcomings...I'll give SUexchange I try later today.

One thing that would really separate SUexchange from the others would be to somehow reward power users...I've spent a decent amount of time on my accounts - adding friends, joining groups and such. My bar is completely filled and I have 40+ fans. That means I have more influence - whatever I stumble will get a lot more visits than the a normal user. But all stumble exchange sites are 1:1 - a vote from a new account is worth just as much as mine. If you could figure out how to solve this you'd attract more power users, making the site more useful. Plus you'd encourage current members to get power accounts. This would make SUexchange far more powerful

I sent out a message to all the members about this awhile ago. StumbleUpon Exchange (suexchange.com) has been banned from su. However, NONE of the participating sites have been banned and will not be banned (at least not from being a part of suexchange).

Our site is growing VERY fast and the stumbles keep growing without a problem.
StumbleUpon Exchange (suexchange.com) is not a big lagger. The site speed is actually very fast and we haven't had any complaints. I think you may be thinking about another site. Also, you can promote as many sites as you like on suexchange.
Thanks Will. Hopefully we can keep increasing those numbers.
Thanks. We're getting more and more members. We also have a lot of new features in the works (great ways to spend your points and get a return for all your hard work).
You really have to do some research to understand how you can earn big from StumbleUpon. StumbleUpon Exchange is a great help. It's very easy to use and once you play with it for a few minutes you'll know exactly how to take advantage of it and build great traffic.
We are working to provide more and more features at suexchange. I think we have a few things in the works you will really appreciate.

StumbleUpon Exchange is growing. We now have over 600 members and we've exchanged well over 14,000 stumbles. We are working to further develop and promote our site. Keep your eyes on us, we're getting big!

I just signed up - I don't think I'll be using SUexchange until a stumble verifier is programmed. Having to message users to verify stumbles is WAY too cumbersome, not to mention very unreliable...

You don't have to message users. The system does it automatically. You just have to make sure they actually stumbled, which only takes a few seconds :)

    I just joined. Great concept.

The manual selection of sites to stumble is a flaw. Huge time killer because compare it to the stumbleupon experience. (serious lag). Make this automated and it will greatly improve the site.

Waiting to get your points confirmed or verified could be a downside.

Overall I like it. I'll post a follow up results reveiw.

I have joined but I don't like the idea with messaging for exchanging stumbles. The other user may not even answer and give you point. Also, in my profile page can be seen a lot of private stuff, like the site I submitted for stumbling. It's not good to be shown who submitted it. :) It should be more anonymous.

I thought that too, at first.

What makes the system work is that they lose a point when you claim your Stumble on their page -- and they get the point back when they give you a point for your Stumble.

The system gives great results. I do concur that the interface could be reorganized to require a lot fewer clicks.

For example you can place "Logout" link on every page instead only in "Update Account". ;)

I just logged in and awarded points to everyone who had claimed Stumbles against me.

    Please submit more claims. :D

I have to agree with scubish, it would be nice to have a tutorial.
    What is the answers to:
    How do points work?

I have enroll myself and have a problem with my "SU Profile". When I click on it, am taken to the page "No Such Username".
    What's wrong?

I think it works like this:

    add a url: -3 points
    stumbling someone's site: +1 point
receive a stumble: -1 point, but get that point back when you verify that they stumbled yours

I'm having a problem with the captcha images. Sometimes it says I entered it incorrectly, even when I was sure it was correct. I was using all capitals for the letters. When I try again, it always works. Is anyone else having this problem?
