hello i posted a ads in craigslist the other day , one person sent a email to me about he's interested in my item. he told i pay a cashier's check to you to this amount please give me full name , address and contact number . i gave him my personal information such as full name and address and contact that send check i understood it's a scammer and sent many email regarding i accept no check except cash. i have a question wether scammer can do thing through this information ? how can i avoid scammer? if i received check what should i do ? it's a cashier's check as you know most of cashier's checks are fake. it means after many weeks you understand it has been discovered fake. please guide me thanks
If I were you I would have used paypal or credit card or any other safe method. Also if they are asking to much personal information one should know it is a scam
it means if one person would like to request paypal account it's ok ? scammer knows if give them paypal account they can sign in to my account , isn't it ?
