    Hello,

I need to know some facts about Western Union. I am 16 years old, can I easily accept the money. Also, what type of documents do I need to bring with myself to accept the money?

    Thank in advance?

You need a ID because when the sender sends money it just goes with your name and a conf #, the sender must give you the conf# after he sends the money.

Not sure how a school id would work out. I have accepted western union one time before. I had to find a bank that would payout western union transfers first. Once the transaction went through, I went to the bank and they have a special western union telephone. You pick up and get a representative, and give the info from your confirmation sheet tha you print at home. Sender name, country city, and $ amount. They give you another code that you give to the bank teller. They will give you a bank check if you do not have an account with that bank. Take the bank check to your bank and deposit it in your account!

Western union is very easy to accept. Most locations only require picture ID but if you don't have ID they will let the sender set a test question for you to answer. Being that your only 16 a think they will be even more flexible on the ID thing, just make sure the sender sets a test question for which you know the answer.

Great all, thanks for your answers. Hopefully a school ID will be good enough.
