Western Union payment question

I have decided to go with Western Union for the first time this month. Can you pick up the payment at any Western Union office, for example in another country, not in the one you live in? Or do you have to pick it up in your city or country?

Does anyone know? I want to pick up the payment while in another country.

In my case...I can pick up the money at any WU office in my country.
Not sure if you can pick up the payment in another country

I try before and yes, you can receive the money in another country by using your passport

Yes, as soon as you have the passport to identify your personality.

 

yeah you have to prove your identity with your NIC or passport .. those two are valid for payment collection @ WU

 

Additional information, you can only withdraw money on those country which provide WU service (Not all the bank in certain country do provide WU)
And one thing need to be pay attention is all the bank do have different maximum limit, check before you withdraw money
