    your brother got his check (suppose he's using check as payment method) but you, are you using western union or check as payment method? Seems the problem was with people using WU only...

    Yes, the same problem since WU became the default payment option for Romania. After many emails back and forth Adsense support, I received the payment in USD once, but then it all switched back.
    Apparently, the problem is that the money is sent to be picked up in Euro not USD, so I was told at the bank.
    Obviously this situation leads to losses.

    I hope they won't cancel the WU payment option... because it's the best :D

    I think WU is the problem not Adsense, they always have problems with interruptions, connections or i don't know... , maybe this is the reason of the error , WU maybe is better than check payments but not than EFT payments or the possible Google Checkout in the future
