Western Union Money transfer?

    One of the Person in India wants to get money via Western Union Money transfer from USA. ?

    Does the person need any acct in Western Union to receive money ?

    or Just he can get money by giving identity or address proof?

    Need details regarding Western Union....

    You just need to supply your ID and name to Western Union. You don't have to open an account at Western Union. Western Union is just a service of transferring money within seconds to other country, it's not a bank.

    When Sending you would need to give them all of your details. You will be provided with a 9 digits MTCN number which you need to give to the person who is receiving money.

    The person who would be receiving Western Union payment would need to show them (WU guys) his Identity card and the 9 digits MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number) and they will release the payment.

    There are no chargebacks in WU once payment has been received. Just in case.....
