Yeah, I'm stupid enough to have read history myself and not take conspiracy theories as gospel truth from radical islamists, whether they be from Iran or Canada.

The US helped rebuild Germany and Japan after the war, now they're two of the richest nations in the world. After WWII the US devoted itself to fighting Soviet and Chinese backed communism. Soviet and Chinese backed communism was like an infection and infections do one of two things on their own, they either resolve or spread. Soviet and Chinese communism would not have "resolved" on it's own.

There needed to be an equal and/or greater power to counter them and the US made this its main objective.

Vietnam, Korea, CIA involvement in covert missions, including the overthrow of some governments made the world a safer and freer place. 10s if not 100s of thousands of Americans died during the cold fighting proxy wars to stop the spread of communism. The degree of influence of Soviet and Chinese communism was inversely proportionate to the degree of freedom around the world.

Notice how the number of autocracies dramatically decrease around the time of the collapse of the soviet union and simultaneously the number of democracies increase. The collapse of the Soviet union did not happen in a vacuum. The USSR and USA were exerting pressures on each other for 40+ years, ultimately we were better able to withstand it. We were better, we won, the world won with us.

During the US's "reign", global dominance, or whatever you want to call it, the world has experienced a growth in freedom and prosperity in a way that it probably never has before. Has the world made these leaps in spite of a "tyranical" and "domineering" power like the US or in some part because of the actions of the US? There is no doubt that the world is becoming a better place precisely because of US leadership.

The comfort you enjoy in a free, civil and stable Canada was secured by the blood of Americans during the 40+ years fighting the spread of communism. You owe my fellow countrymen a thank you for your ability to sit in a free country and bad mouth them, as without them and their aggressive opposition to the spread of communism during the cold war, your country may not have stayed so free. On behalf of them, I'd like to say you're welcome.

I have to agree with you if you really believe this nonsense. USA was the driving force behind all the dictatorship and death squads in Asia, middle east, south America and parts of Africa.

Ok, Akhi, so freedom, democracy and economic prosperity has grown dramatically in the world IN SPITE of the US being the dominant force. Also during that time the tooth fairy produced 5 gold albums and a glorious atheist bringer of truth was brought forth to us from the great north non-Islamic nation of Canada. It's all true because I just posted it in a forum.

Now if you'd like to prove how the US has stymied freedom in the world go ahead and post specifics so that they can be promptly debunked. Or just try to disprove what I posted. Tell us how the Soviet and Chinese were not a threat to global freedom. How, if the US never existed that they would have not attacked other countries and spread their oppressive way of life by force, but instead would have bought everybody furry bunny suits and passed out the lyrics to "Good Day Sunshine" to the people of the world so that the world could join hands together in a beautiful harmonious chorus instead of invading countries and crushing resistance as they did in South Vietnam, Korea and Czechoslovakia.

My offer is still n the table mr Gtech. Your turn.

And that's why you came up with $50,000... If you were serious you would at least do whois on my domains-sites and at least google my username and you would find thigs that would made you think twice before making such bet. It only tells us how "serious" you were with $50,000 bet offer...

And now I should say something like: no, your posts are full of the garbage conetent in them... Grow up kid.

I know, that's why you insulted me with it a day or two ago.

I don't spend my life bitching about you because you don't deserve that at all. And as I can see you have hard time to understand things so I'll repeat again: you didn't do shit to help my country while we were bleading. Check facts again and than back to me.

Again, post facts I've requested and than let's talk about helping someone. Go ahead and post them.

Nice debunking of what I have posted.

Actually I should be thankful that we got arms sanctions and because of that there was too many unnecessary innocent casulties? Is that what are you saying?

It's always personal with you guys isn't it? You don't have any arguments to talk about and always drag any convo on personal level. Grow up kid.

Again, you guys can't have any convo without dragging it to personal level. It's all like: US do shit, someone criticize it and than you came up with same old garbage: you talk about us that way not because we did shit but because your life sucks!
You don't know anything about me personally yet you are more than willing to make one insinuations after other. So I'll ask you a question: where do I live, do I have family, how are my living conditions, what car do I drive, do I rent or own my house etc etc.
After you answer those questions please explain your claim that my life sucks. Thanks. And if you can't do it feel free do admit so.

I have no problem with balanced criticism. I have a problem with people who seem to spend their whole lives focusing on the bad things(or perceived bad things, or just plain made up shit) of one or two countries, namely the US and Israel.

What if every other post of mine and 12 other regulars was bitching about Croatia?

And the obsessive types often use arguments that could be applied to almost any other country or at least to any country that has had any degree of power.

The one thing that seems to be popular lately in this forum is to bring up our history with native Americans. You could apply the same thing to the UK and Portugal, who may have perpetrated the greatest holocausts in history via the slave trade. Or the UK again by going to war with China because China didn't want the opium the UK was importing because it was ravaging their population with addiction. Or the way the aborigines were treated by Australians. I mean there's a million things we could talk about from history or current affairs before we even got to Stalin and Hitler. Shit, Iggy, your little part of the world gave us enough material just from the 90s to fill the forum up with threads every day for a year or two. But do we talk about those things? No. It's all US this and US that.

I understand that the US and its actions are playing a big part in shaping world affairs, so maybe we deserve more attention. But the standards that are applied are skewed and dishonest.

So whenever you want to start applying your criticisms evenly throughout the world I'll stop being an opponent. If it were fair and balanced criticisms from thoughtful people who didn't have a particular axe to grind with the US, I'd probably join in. There is a lot to criticize about this country as there is with every country. But as long as there are so many who criticize almost impulsively without original thought, without a real desire to acquire knowledge through critical debate, or who are clearly only posting to serve a particular political agenda(propaganda) then I can't really be having it.

Until then maybe you should try to imagine logging in here every day and instead of seeing a list of "Fuck the US" type threads, seeing threads about Croatia.

See what's your problem: you talk how you have a problem with plain made up shit and than you made up your own shit caliming that someone spend their whole life focusing on bad things from two countries! Seriously, check when did I start to post here, check how old I am, check how often I post and than get back to me.

So what? I would join you in bitching about bad shit in Croatia and defend my country when I think you are wrong. When things in my country becomes interesting for poster here on DP it will be pleasure for me to talk about it. Until than we will discuss only things that inetests posters on DP.

Sorry but when we discus particular conflict we can't talk about aborigines, can we?

When you decide to talk about facts than we can talk. Stop avoiding it and let's talk. Show me how did your country helped mine during war. Let's start there. Let's see it. Is that hard? You can't find any info about it?
You talk a lot like any other weliveinhavenandeveryoneelselifesucksandthatswhythehateus average Joe but all in all you says nothing at all. Usual "We kick ass!" propaganda. Carry on.

LOL. Iggy. The more you talk, the less I can chalk up the deficits in your posts to a language barrier. Seriously, when you keep things shorter it's easier for us to assume that you're probably a bright guy that just doesn't have an overly good grasp on the English language.

Why do you keep blaming the US for the mess the people in your region of the world caused each other? If you insist on blaming an outside force why not blame the Italians and Germans? They did more to fuck your country up than we did by splitting it up and putting genocidal croats in charge which helped spur ethnic tensions.

The only thing we did was try to bring peace to the region. Of course we got involved militarily because sometimes that is necessary to get people to the bargaining table to try to come up with a political solution to the conflicts. I think it was an especially difficult situation for the US and others involved because of the genocidal racists in the region and the history between the different groups made it hard.

And don't you celebrate Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day? Don't you know who played a part in training the forces?

Again, don't made up shit. Let's talk about facts. Find my posts where I blame US for war in my country and we'll start from there.

You haven't made an offer yet. You've only said "$1,000 dollars."

What is your offer. Lay it out.

BTW, I don't gamble with dishonest muslims.

Iran issued an order to you yesterday. When will you be departing?

You claimed that I am muslim numerous times so far. I asked you politely to stop with that lie but you continue to post it day after day after day.

If you are so sure about me being muslim (and as I can see you are) bet $1000 on it. As I can see you are scared to do that. You are sissy just like lexisick. From my first "put..." respons to you knew exactly what I ment but you continued to do what you usualy do: avoid to talk about esence of some issue and keep posting lies and your usual nonsense.

Right now you are sceared like little mouse because if you take a bet and lose it everyone will see what kind of liar you are and how much time and energy you are ready to spend to support that lie. That's why I can be sure that you won't take it and continue to post nonsense such us "I don't gamble with dishonest muslims" yadda yadda yadda

Grow some balls already or stop pretending to have ones.

Iggy, you seem to not know so much about the history of your country. Did you not know the role the US had in your independence? You know Google is free, right?

Do you think this would make a good birthday card for Croatia Independence Day?

I do not believe it is a lie. For a lie to be a lie, one must know otherwise, and go forth with an alternate set of facts. Sort of like you do, in your own posting.

I have seen nothing, in any shape or form, to indicate you are not a muslim. However, your posts, from day one in P&R, have been soley in defense of islam, in defense of islamic terrorists, with vile hatred towards America, Christians, Israel and Jews.

It is your posts, that have outted you as the muslim you are. You, alone, are soley responsible for that. Despite having informed you of such, you still go right on, dissimulating islamic propaganda and the usual islamic hatred and talking points.

If you are ashamed of being muslim, or disappointed that your cover has been blown (you are not the first...gworld, King of Kings, thraxed and a few other muslims from the past have all slipped up, after proclaiming to be either atheists or Christians, then making the mistake of exposing their true belief), I'd suggest you start focusing on creating posts that don't make it so obvious.

Let alone, the very fact that the US helped muslims avoid their own holocaust in your own country. Perhaps you didn't want the help of the US to prevent what would have otherwise been your certain demise, but you got it none-the-less.

You, alone, are responsible for outting yourself as a muslim. You are not the first to disguise such here. You join a long list of muslims, who practice dissimulation and hide under the guise of being something you are not.

I'm not interested in your photoshopped badge. You know. I know. Deal with it.

You are talking with Corporal potato, the leader of missing balls chicken brigade. For many years, we were trying to get them to practice what they preach and volunteer for any kind of duty in so called "war on terror" but they always said that they can only fight the Muslims bogeyman while hiding under their bed.:D

I know it's a lie and you know it too and that's why you chikened out of bet. For someone who likes to call everyone who don't share his view of the world dishonets you are more than dishonest. I gave you a chance to finally try prove that someone who you called dishonest is actullay dishonest to indeed prove that and even make easy bucks on it and instead on jumping on that oportunity you crawled back to your lala land and continue to do post your usual yadda yadda crap.

Didn't you say few posts ago "put up or shut up"? I did put up but as I can see you are to scared to go with it. Even you don't believe in lies you posts.
But no worries, I will collect all your posts where you lied about me and than post all my info so we'll see who is actullay dishonest here.

As you said: put up or shut up. Your won words tells loads about you. Sissy.

Of course mister sissy. In todays world there's no way that I can send you my orginal birth certificate from my parish...
Let's repeat your own words for couple more times just for fun of it:
    put up or shut up
    put up or shut up
    put up or shut up
    put up or shut up
    put up or shut up
    put up or shut up
    put up or shut up
    put up or shut up

So? What it will be? Will you put up or shut up?

Yeah, google is free so find out how many soldiers US sent to help us and find out how many US soldier were send to lieberate Kuwati oli fields and those fact will tell you everything about your beloved country.

No matter how you call him one thing is sure: that man has no balls and he is too scared to even believe in his own lies he post.

It tells me that my country and most of the rest of the civilized(and even some of the uncivilized) world didn't like the idea of an insane crazy person being in charge of 20%-25% of the world's oil.

If you really care about the suffering of people in the world as you claim then you'd been against it too. What do you think a stranglehold on world oil supply by a nutcase like Saddam could do to the economies of the world? You think it would have only been bad for the US?

Anyway, Iggy, I think I'm going to stop responding to you. I got this rep(which was green btw):

West Bank is not... Dec 29th 2008 10:25 am you are getting your ass handed to you by iggysick

It seems you're making me look stoopid so I really don't wanna talk to you anymore. :p

Your problem is that you are unable or too scared to post facts and only post cheap propaganda. Try just for once to answer any of my questions or request and let's start from there. I promise, I'll be open minded and discus facts or answers you posted.

I think I've answered your questions and allegations, not that I'm obliged to. In fact I've shown that the basis for all your arguments and unfounded hatred is not only false, but your own country(if you're really in Croatia) is a shining example to disprove your own allegations.

Our involvement in Croatia's independence is exactly the kind of things people like you use to try to prove the US's nefarious dealings and motives around the world. We fool with the affairs of other countries and it doesn't always turn out well. But overall our policies have worked to advance freedom and stability in the world. Luckily our backing of Operation Storm in Croatia helped bring the Serbs to the negotiating table in Dayton and Croatia has went on to do pretty well since.

Now you live in a democratic republic who's GDP is growing every year. You'll be joining NATO in '09 and will probably join the EU in '10. In the graph I posted above, your country is represented in the line that represents the ascension of democracy in the world, and the US had a direct hand in it whether you acknowledge it or not.

Team America, the EU and NATO welcome you to the bright side of the street.
