OK, it seem i have a problem and after spending some time reading this wonderfull forum i thought i could get some help from you guys :)

I am building a text based web game that obviusly requires a login to play, and google seems not to like pages protected by a login... the game adress is http://www.urbanmobs.com and its still in beta stage, wen i subited my page i got this answer from google:

    ------------------------------------------------------------------
We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.

    Issues:

    - Difficult site navigation

    ---------------------

    Further detail:

Difficult site navigation: During our review of your website, we found
your site difficult to navigate. Potential navigation issues include:
pages behind a login/restricted access, broken links, excessive
pop-ups, dialers, website pages under construction or not yet launched.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------

Can anyone please help me out with this? Any ideas on what i should do? I thought in puting more links with for example a beter description of the game, description of the items the game haves etc etc etc.... but i dont know if that will do any good :(

    Please help :D

    Thanks

I am not sure there is an answer to your problem. Suspect this site is just not for Adsense due to the login issue. If you want to run Adsense, get this site up and running and build a site on which Adsense will work.

    Good luck.

Don't submit a site that is in beta. You can't run adsense on a page that is login protected.

Yup. You will need to have other means of monetizing the site, or else open it up and move the login part off the main section of the site. That could potentially work. You would need some freely accessible content, though.

You can try to be accepted with the forum as your main site, but it's unlikely you'll be accepted because Google approves on a site by site basis, from my knowledge - so they'd likely still find your main page unacceptable for the same reasons.

If you really wanted to put ads on the forum (though forums have a notoriously low CTR), you might try putting on a seperate domain, or maybe on a completely different subdomain.. not sure if that would work, though.

I'd just recommend holding off on ads on this site altogether - maybe you can make another site that would be more geared towards adsense and get accepted into Adsense that way.

if I may interject, so for a login-protected site, there is no hope of ever getting adsense approved for that site?

It's against their rules! You can't have AdSense on password protected pages. How do you expect googlebot to crawl those pages and determine the ads it will serve?

Google appear to like lots of content pages. Try creating a section with game related articles, or even a forum. That might help. Good luck!

    Cipri .. I see two problems ..

    1. Explicit content.
    2. The fact that you use all our pages behind a password and a user name.

Try to go with all the other great publisher programs like Adbrite, Textlinkads, Azoogleads, etc.
