As an seo guy - i run many plugins for firefox - do you know which of them could lead to that?

".. but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now."

That happened to me yesterday. It's not a big deal and only lasts for a few seconds. It happens if you are clicking on the different result pages too quickly. They must have thought that humans can't click that quick! ;)

It's just a block in place to prevent computers/bots from scraping their SERPs, for obvious reasons.

you or someone else using your ip was doing mass queries...one of the firefox plugin you talk about may be the cause, probably one seo related

Well the issues persists doesn't matter which browser you are using...Its reason is the mass queries from your IP address....It happens to me often ..doesn't matter which browser I am using as I normally engaged with google a lot for some specific results.

This has happened to me only once. And yeah, this is because of many queries from your IP. Could be because of the fasterfox extension. Not sure. But I've seen it happen to me only once so far.
