Hi Everyone, I've found a new job and as a result, the company I currently work for is looking to hire a new SEO guy. I said I'd make a post on the forums to see if anyone is interested in the role - hopefully someone is. Essentially, you responsibilities would be to maintain and improve rankings for our existing clients sites and also work with the Director on new job pitches and business aquisition. You need to have a passion for this industry, and go out of your way to keep yourself up-to-date with industry changes and news. About the Company... It's a pretty big company - part of WPP and as a result there are a lot of staff benefits that you might not get working for a smaller firm. The SEO/SEM client list is pretty impressive, covering a number of different industries with varying difficulty of work. The Company is based in SE1 - London. The team you would be working with are a fantastic bunch of buys and I've really enjoyed working with everyone here. Why am I leaving then? Simply, I'm moving on because I was given an offer I just couldn't refuse. What are they looking for? This role is ideal for anyone who has a passion for SEO and cares about getting clients good results. A good knowledge of JS (x)HTML and CSS would be good. SEO skills *must* be good. Any experience with PPC advertising is also a plus, but not essential. So, if there is anyone in London (Or a commutable distance from it) that's looking for a full-time SEO related job - let me know - send me a CV, and we'll talk about setting up an interview. Thanks - and best of luck
Wow, nice, if i lived in London and was actually qualified i'd love to go for that. Good luck to anyone going for it.
