hey all just as title says im looking for a few free css templates, i have already ran a google search and went through the first 5 pages but was just wondering if anyone has any top css template resource websites???
Here's four of the best to get you going: OSWD OpenWebDesign Open Designs CSS Tinderbox Loads of design for free to download, most of them ask you retain the link to the designers website (usually in the footer) which is only fair. CW
Two words: Public Domain My question therefore is do you want the images, or do you just want the HTML/CSS code that you can change the colors on and add the images as you see fit? (If it's the latter, I can help you VERY easily.)
Did you try googling 'free CSS templates'? That is a decent list of sites, but ^above^ are defiantly the best.
Eh, the code I write is a lot better than what they offer - and I give mine away with no license restrictions (and let's face it, even the GPL limits what you can and cannot do).
My main issue with CSS templates that you find online is that most templates give you WAY more than what I am looking for. I have gradually made a collection of either self designed 'templates' or heavily modified templates that I find on the web. My definition of template is a bit different than the definition in the above links. My templates are usually just the HTML and CSS for a 3 column design fixed or fluid width, or a 2 column design fixed and fluid width, etc. I can ad images and all that other crap when I design a page. I am much more interested in having a true foundation that I can build just about any website on. The problem, is that it is difficult to find a resource with these kind of templates, and making my own collection is quite a slow process. One of the best resources I have found for 3 column layouts is this one that was recommended by Deathshadow. http://blog.html.it/layoutgala/ Does anyone else have any other resources similar to this?
