Went from PR 0 to PR 4- Only 7 Backlinks

My website is only 4 months old and only has 7 backlinks on it! Amazingly, it went from PR 0 to PR 4! It only gets a few visitors per day.

Can anyone explain why this happened? I am very excited about this. Luckily, I have a new version of the website I hope to launch soon.

 

in my experience, its becoz the sites linked you must have high page rank,like pr3 to pr5 thats why

 

shows pr0 to me so i dont know maybe it was a glitch?

3 servers at the above link were showing PR 4. Now only 2 are.

I think in 24 hours I'll know for sure whether or not I got the PR. For now it seems they are "taking it back".

If you look here, several servers are showing PR 4 (wait for all the results to load). I have screenshots of it, too.

toolbarqueries.google.com is showing "0" and google.com is showing 4/10,i think you need to get some rank on toolbarqueries... to see your rank as real

 

Yes,it's PR4,when I visited your site,it shows pr4 on the google toolbar..
This isn't pr prediction tool! Google is updating the datacenters .

so you got PR4 with 5000 backlinks, not with 7

 

Really? I had no clue about that! Imagine, a site with 4,000 backlinks only getting several visitors per day!

 

There's nothing unusual about a site with only 7 backlinks having a PR of 4 -- I have a site with exactly that profile. I depends on the PR of those 7 links, in my case all are 1+

 

You have only few pages indexed since feed from slickdeals.net is duplicated and that or unfriendly url's like :

prevents SE to spider your website more...

It is strange that you don't know how many backlinks you have for your own site...

 

Quite honestly, I developed the website several months ago and didn't focus much attention on it until now, when I thought I'd check its PR.

My main website is pcfastlane.com. I've been focusing most of my attention on it until now.

Right now I'm working on a Web 2.0 version of the website. It will be awesome!
