I am set up crafty cart on my WordPress site. It's all ready to go except the payment gateway. I decided on Paypal payment pro and proceeded with setting it up and attaching a bank acct to my paypal account. Wells Fargo is my bank and they really pushed me to use them in conjunction with Paypal. They promised to have my API signature (and other neccessary info) to me within 48 hours. 48 hours later I have no API credentials and now learned that they used a completely different type of paypal account. This "Flow" account requires SDK integration and doesn't work with any of my shopping cart default gateways. Maybe the guy at Wells Fargo just saw the Art of Lying? Back to square one. Has anyone used both PPayments pro and Google Checkout? Wondering which one is better.
I had a problem with wells fargo as well they seem to just say wat you want to hear but when it comes down to it they dont deliver try using a different bank
Absolutely. They really badgered us to go with them and insisted it would work exactly like Paypal payments pro. When I realized that it wasn't even close to the same I called him back and told him that he had delayed our sales by five days. That's potentially thousands of dollars. His response? after an incredibly long silence, "OK.. are there any other things I can help you with?" Once they sell their package they didn't care the least bit about us. The reason we used WF was because of the ability to "instantly confirm bank accounts" when you have an online acct with Wells Fargo. That didn't work either.. Two big, BIG thumbs down for Wells Fargo!
