I'm looking into joining my 1st affiliate program. I'm trying to decide between amazon and boardstop.com. They both have the products I want to advertise on my site. Everybody knows amazon and might be more inclined to buy stuff from them, but they only pay about 4-6% commissions. On the other hand, boardstop.com would pay 10% commisions, but they're not so well known. Any thoughts on what the better choice would be?
Both sell good products. A lot will be determined by your affiliate website and how well you presell your visitors. Do NOT mix and match them. Stick with one topic and you will do better. Amazon sells books, but gives a crummy % for commissions. If you want to sell books, why not audio books? They are becoming more and more popular. My audio book affiliate has 1000's of titles with no club to join and no special software needed. I pay 20% per sale of any audio title. If interested, PM me and I will send you the URL. Jim
Hey check out the two programs below. Both are my top 2 affiliate programs and have great payouts. If interested sign up with me and I can personally help you get started with the programs. Just shoot me a message!
What's the point of affiliating if you get only 10%? Affiliating ebooks is way more lucrative, dude. I'm affiliating some myself right now which pays me $65 each sale, and $20 each sale made by my sub-affiliate. And these products are a lot hotter sales than amazon books. PM me if you want to know more.
it is important to look to products not to commissions, every time you can make money with low commissions. high commissions need more effort and budget to advertise. amazon is a trust web site and give 10 % for ebook, cd,...which every internet users can buy them and the price is low. As an affiliate working with big name will help you to pre sell , working with new prodcuts and with scam that can be a way to waste your time and effort.
