Well i think im off to a good start.

Just started a new promotion technique. With only about 5 Minutes a work and 2 days later ive had 74 hops recorded, no sales though. I think im on the right track lol. Also in a highly competitive market.

 

Looks like you have made your first steps. You have 74 hops, so that means people are making their way through successfully. Keep at it, just wait until you make your first sale!

 

About to hit the hundreth hop waiting on that one sale

Not to steal the thread but how do you track your hops?

I track my hops through clickbank, up to 105 now.

 

Not to sound like the black sheep, but its all a matter of hops quality not quantity. If the quality of the hoops is targeted (from people interested in the product) then congratulations

Otherwise if the hops are just rondom clicks they are not worth much....

Anyways never give up, keep going until you see sales comming!

 

I think its quality people im posting in the health and fitness part, I might send them to squidoo page then to the sales page see if that improves it.

As web_18designer pointed out, it's way easier to get targeted visitors and they'll convert waaayy easier.

However on the flipside, if you can get 1:200 conversions it's bad from a conversions perspective, BUT if you can easily drive big amounts of traffic you'll be earning quite nice amount of money.

See, what's important is to see what works for YOU. If you can generate traffic this easily and it'll convert then it shouldn't be tough to get a few thousand hops per day if you put a bit more work into it.

lroes I didn't mean to come off as a dick, I'm just trying to get some clarification. Saying "I'm using a promotional technique, and having some results" doesn't tell us anything, and doesn't give you any useful feedback.

By no means should you have to share the point-by-point mechanics of your technique, your niche, or keywords, but at least give us something to discuss here!

 

Yep, occasionally I check my logs and find some muppets sending crappy bought traffic (not Adwords but more like bot or warez traffic or something). Guess what, it never converts!
