    yes, it makes a big difference, and in india, it's about 5000rs which is a good ammount out money, makes a big-big difference.......

    well, my monthly income is 500$, about 25,000 Rs. but then the ammount is much for an average indian.........yes, you can maintain a good enough living, for this to be explained properly, am giving a cost for some of the products.......
    cost of a car is about 2,50,000 Rs or 5000$
    cost of a pc is about 30,000 Rs or 638$
    a lunch at a restaurent for 4 people is about 500 Rs or 10$
    house rent is about 6,000 Rs 127$
    this will give you an estamate of the cost of living in india..........

    wow $500 bucks wouldnt even last you a week in my country...guess its good but ettign a meal for 4 people for only 10 bucks thats mad, I pay 10 bucks for a meal for one person!!! :mad::mad:

    which country are you from that 500 wouldn't last a week??!!

    Even in the wealthier countries, you can get by (if you're single) on 500, if you budget properly. But most people don't of course

    Sure if you stay at home all weekend and dont go out, eat really cheap food, never eat out, dont have a car, have cheap rent etc etc then 500 would be ok for 1 week I guess..
