Sweet. I guess it will have to wait until Monday since I am going away for a little trip EDIT: I guess their emails are faster then the adsense interface.
I guess it is just a stupid happy post. So what? gemini181: I am talking about the new CPA ads from Adsense https://www.google.com/adsense/g-app-single-1 The reason I am excited: I want to try this out on some websites that were subject to smartpricing to see if I can get some money out of them this way.
I only signed up nothing received yet , someone posted some screen shots about the interface and usage .
I am interested in seeing how people make out with this. I am not sure if it is a good thing or bad yet.
Neither am I. I did fairly well with CJ this month. I will let it run head to head with CJ for a few month while tweaking the placements to see what happens. I also want to check their inventory. If I see things I like better, CJ goes. If I don't CJ stays. Bottom line: I want to offer my visitors the best and by having more inventory to pick from then just CJ I can increase my revenue (hopefully). I love CPA since I hope this will finally put a lid on MFA crap (people cheat visitors into clicking and thus many advertisers opt out of the content network, but you cannot cheat people into buying) and since I believe one can do much better with CPA (although it will require more work and tweaking).
My first day experience: The setup is as simple as I am used from Adsense (a big plus). It lets you stick multiple ads into one ad unit and rotates them (another plus). There are not a whole lot of advertisers (big minus) but since its early beta I am confident that this is gonna change soon. Somehow my server went down for a few minutes and after that, the ad units didn't show the correct colors anymore (so I am limiting myself to picture ads for now). Most ads are text based and they look exactly like Adsense PPC (even the same Ads by Gogle logo). The picture ads also show Ads by Google (CJ doesn't do that). Payouts vary widely (I have seen $0.77 and I have seen $92.32). So far I like it but it won't be any competition for CJ, its just another nice thing to pick from. I will have to wait and see how it converts though and do a lot of experimenting. Oh yeah, one big drawback: Since they can be made to look like adsense, I am afraid it will actually be bad for MFA (now they can stick even more ads on a single page and make them all look alike). Overall a very good first impression. I am very happy with the extended choice.
