    Hi Shawn.

Would it be possible to automatically lock the welcome threads after they have had no posts on them for a couple of days or something?

It's driving me nuts going to the new posts, then finding threads that are months old...

    Just my $0.02

That would be a good idea I reckon. Even if they automatically locked after a month??

Sorry SE, this is mine and Weir's fault. I will stop however I can't speak for him but I am sure he won't, he has a knack for getting into trouble.

Look at Weir playing it all innocent!! OMG and he's the one doing it!! OMG again!! :D

SE, have nothing better to do???

Those old threads, reopened are some of the funniest and best threads on the forum.

Son, you better come up with better suggestions than this one or I am going to make one.

Shawn can you, _____________ SE off the __________ soon?

A bit harsh AC - do you not think he has a valid point? If you want to make reference to an old thread in a new thread you can link to it, but it's bringing the forum to a mockery to constantly reply to 8 month old threads.

I concur. Like the thread for Mr. T. . When I saw that it was seven months old, I just had to wonder why would anyone ever bring it back to the surface. Even after trying to politely hint that this was an old thread, folks kept posting. I didn't want to just come right out and say "hey, do you have any clue how old this is?". So I'd like to vote for a lock after 3-4 weeks as well.

So what, a lot of threads come back to life, I have been here for a while and have not seen Shawn lock one thread, EVER.

Do you guys want to start locking threads?

I went back and reopened Shawn's introduction thread, do you guys want some heavy handed management?

Let Shawn run the forum, it will be a better place if we do.

I am not mad at SE and he knows that. :)

Look at the Adsense above, next we will be Looking at Weirfire hot tubs and underwear ads.

Go ahead, both of you and WW can jump in the hot tubs, just don't expect me to pay for the babies.

Raise your own children, I am not paying to raise them ;) :) :D

The ads say Weir for sale, here I thought he was taken!

WW cannot make babies, he's never around. He has one second peep shows and is gone again.
