Weirdest thing ever. A topic closed

Hey, I started this topic I started which people were really getting into got closed. I was offering a Free until Jan 1st thing.

The last person said something so deep and amazing. I actually was touched on how greatful this person was.

I made a reply and it was locked!?!

I can't figure out what's going on. There's barely any visable mods, the topic was positive, It was working out well considering I only get one chance like this every year. Everybody was happy, etc. There was not any messages to me, no explination at the bottom of the topic, nothing.

Can a mod unlock this one for me right quick?

 

Leaving out information on the purpose of being bumped and asking for a reply, I've highlighted in red stuff I saw myself, oh and if you didn't see an infraction you should consider yourself lucky.

You shut down an important topic by me. I've not been given any break at all. I need this topic back. I'm not a rippoff artist, scammer, or post spammer. Most nice people help out or say something nice. Not offer a warning with authority.

I'm going to ask you three things here:

I'm going to ask you for the permission to edit that topic, erase that stuff out and get it re-opened. People are Private messaging me like nuts for this, and I really need this break.
or
Please give advice on when I get re-open a topic just like that one without the hooks you mention.

and one last thing, is there some kind of a notification about me. Some blacklist where mods watch people like me for every topic I make because I notice theirs a fair share of attacking mods at me?

The mod who closed it actually could have given you a 7-day ban for telling people to post in the thread. It's not going to get re-opened, but since that one is closed you're welcome to start another thread - please just don't have people reply that way or it will likely get closed again - they need to PM you if they're interested. Please see the BST announcement from a few months ago.

 

Also on the note of mods "attacking" you, you've actually been let off extremely easy lately.

1. You got out of an immediate ban on this issue.

2. I let you off in another thread where you made comments that could have been considered an attack against other members (a 2-pt infraction which I let slide b/c I was feeling generous right before the holiday and considered it vague enough not to make a big deal out of it other than giving you a warning in the thread).

3. When I see attack-style posts, I usually check the member's other recent posts to make sure it's not a bigger habit / problem - just in your most recent posts there was another one eligible for an immediate 7-day ban (where you posted just to tell people that you sent out PMs - and actually, looking again, you had two of them). I deleted them, and you weren't banned - in that case only because we were having a disagreement in another thread and I chose not to bother to avoid any appearance of impropriety.

If anyone were specifically out to get you, you would have been banned already. In the future, please don't throw around false accusations about how things are run when you obviously don't have the full story.
