Weird YPN Ad Format

    Hi All,

I am interested in learning how a particular web site is displaying ads from Yahoo without following the ad format that YPN gives us.

The site in question is http://www.scabiesfacts.net

When you open the site, you'll find that it displays some Sponsored links in the form of search results. If you open the site in Firefox (not IE) and then click on any of the sponsored links, and then keep a close eye on the Status bar in the browser window that shows which URLs you are redirected to in succession, you'll find that for a few brief seconds, it shows "overture".

So obviously, this site is getting the sponsored ads from Yahoo.

What I can't figure out is how this site is displaying the sponsored ads in this format. I am a member of YPN and the ad format which I get from it is completely different (it's very similar to the GOogle Adsense ad format).

Also, if you do a View Source on this site, you'll find that there is no reference to the Overture or Yahoo server anywhere in the code. Whereas, the JavaScript code that YPN gives me calls the Overture server.

My guess is that since the ads are displayed in the form of search results, the site gets a far better clickthrough rate than if one were to use the YPN ad format.

So, can someone tell me how this site is displaying ads in this format?

    Thanks,
    Jason.
