Well according to me Cheap == Bad . But you never know . They might be good . Just be careful . Google about their reviews before you try
Weird post. So what is your point? They've been around since 2001 which is a lot longer than most hosts.
The only thing I would like to mention here is the fact that unlimited disk space and bandwidth is not possible in the hosting industry and one should never choose hosting plans with unlimited disk space for bandwidth if reliable hosting plans are required
There's no way you will get to use unlimited space or bandwidth or email for $12 per year (or $12 per month or even $12 per day). There will be something in their terms that will stop you being able to utilize it all. Do you really think anyone will genuinely give you all that in return for $12? No chance, no way.
Yes, that's a sure fire way. Go ahead -- sign up and use 100gb of space and 500gb of bandwidth. They'll ban you and take your money before you get 1/10 the way of that .. It's my recommendation to ALWAYS buy exact plans (e.g you get 12gb of space and 100gb transfer) .. You'll always get that much unless you're dealing with real scam artists
I asked them, they told that they really give unlimited (what else would they say). But if they suspend my account will I be able to get to my files? JustHost and iPage is also giving unlimited everything for about 3$/month What about http://www.hostso.com
While they may be willing to give you unlimited space or bandwidth the simple fact is you would never be able to use it (not even a fraction of it). There will be something in their Terms (or hidden elsewhere on their site) which will enforce some sort of limit whether it be CPU usage, number of files, number of concurrent connections, amount of ram, percentage of system resources. They always exist, they have to. I don't know why you're even arguing with this fact. If you just stopped for a single minute to think. Servers costs money, disks costs money, processors cost money, RAM costs money, bandwidth costs money, networks cost money, datacentre space costs money, power costs money, and staff costs money. These places aren't charities providing services for the common good and who are funded by good samaritans with more money than sense. They are businesses who are trying to make a profit. Is it really feasible to provide unlimited everything and really mean you will provide it? Of course not. Finally, when it comes down to it, why do you even need unlimited disk space, bandwidth, or email accounts? Are you going to use them? Are you going to need so many that unlimited is the only number that makes sense to you. Do you have unlimited time to create a web site of unlimited size, and you do you really believe your site will be so popular that it will require unlimited bandwidth? If it was so easy to do, why don't companies like Amazon or Google just purchase a $3 a month hosting plan and run their systems on that rather than operate data centres full of racks with thousands of servers? If you believe you will get unlimited anything except a lot of spin then you need a serious reality check.
