Weird Title in Google Results

    Many of the results being returned by Google for my site have screwed up titles. For example, Google is returning the title Top Ten List - Favorite Simpsons Characters Username: Password ... for a page where the actual meta title is Top Ten List - Favorite Simpsons Characters. I do have a form on the page that prompts for a username and password but it really shouldn't be showing up in the title.

    This is happening on quite a few pages as can be seen by doing a Google search for site:the-top-tens.com simpsons characters. Any ideas as to what is causing it and how I can clean up my results?

    This is another Google problem.

    Google is combining title text with on-page text for the clickable link.

    Nothing you can to except wait for them to get it right.

    I've been seeing it also. Not always but on some results I've checked.
