Weird thing in Adsense! $=>USD

Someone tried to enter his AdSense account?

Next to each amount of money I had the mark $ but now I have the word USD, like this:

Today's Earnings: USD9999.55

I'm the only one who has this weird thing? I tried to refresh but it didn't change

 

Why is it weird? USD and $ mean the same thing

Yea, I know its the same thing but it looks....UGLY & WEIRD... :\

I'm not complaining, but its really weird

 

I think only accounts that Google thinks belong to members from non US countries get that indicator.

 

I'm not from USA but its the first time I have this.
Maybe they are doing some tests...

 

mine's $12378.23 (i made that up) so it's probably something else.

 

for my account its showing.. $ XX

 

You can change the language to English (US) or English (UK), I think one displays $ and the other USD.

 

Mine has just the $, nothing else.

...and if you use Firefox with the "my currency" extention then it shows the conversion (any given currency) first and then the $ amount. Man, was as I scarred for a moment.

 

Happened to me for one day about, oh, two/three weeks ago. Strange.

 

It's exactly what I was trying to say.....

Google thinks you are a foreign country member, in other words, it's a setting in your account.

 

But I didn't change anything so why this weird thing?

I've now changed the language to English (UK) and still.... :|

 

It's probably a hiccup in their system. Should be back to normal tomorrow. Kind of a weird anomoly, the kind you only notice if you check your stats daily.

 

Yea, I hope so. It's not looking so good with the amounts.
