Weird SERP results after SEO changes

    Hey Folks,

    In the last couple months I was getting about 4 or 5 clicks a day for a tough to rank for keyword phrase that I was ranked at #5 for in Google Canada. Did some SEO changes to my site as well as new backlinks, blogs posts, etc. and managed to get my site up to the #2 spot. Now , suddenly , instead of getting more clicks for these 2 keyword phrases like I expected, I am getting NONE. Does this make any sense ?? Anyone have an idea as to how this could happen and why?

    Did you change the title tags? This could affect click through rate...

    Same title tags....really just went on a blog post and backlink SEO campaign for the keyword phrases I wanted and they increased in the SERPS on google .....don't understand how I can get clicks at #5/6 position and no clicks at #2 position? doesn't make sense....

    Sounds like you could have been ranking for other keywords that you didn't know about.
