Weird Sales Fluctuations

the 'affiliate %' wouldn't tell you anything as the publisher might have started his own campaign, but you would definitely notice the change in the 'commission %' graph.

 

Remember a couple things people

1. Many of the screenshots shown (a few sales every few days)... You are not hitting statistical significance yet and therefore I wouldn't count it as a problem on CB's side.

2. There is Halloween and a US Election coming up. The US Election is one of the most important things going on in the nation right now and as such people are spending less time in front of a computer (for buying things) and more time researching the election, watching tv, etc.

 

i guess there all waiting in line then lol i haven't had a US visitor for a couple of hours. quite amusing i would have had 100 otherwise.
oh, there was one, from a town called Independence lol. I bet they don't vote at all in a town with such name

 

For everyone blaming the election/halloween... If those things were causing people not to be on their computer, then you should also be getting less clicks. I'm getting the same clicks as always and I'm making a lot fewer sales the past couple of days.

 

Yeah I think things will pick up after the elections though, just be patient guys things will pick up next month!!

 

Bingo! That's what I've been saying. How can it be blamed on all of these situations when you get the same amount of "targeted" hops?

 

if you were both replying to me then i repeat - the election does have an effect on the number of the US hops TODAY. according to my stats at least. however, i didn't say anything about sales did i?

 

Funny thing is that my hops weren't affected during the week, when I had zero sales....

 

Same here - I'm getting same amount of traffic and hops, but very little sales. This past week I earned exactly half what I did the week before.

 

I wonder if any of this has to do with the latest google updates. Maybe some of your traffic is not as targeted as it was before the google changes.

 

What kind of "changes" you are talking about?

 

I'm not sure what you mean about less targetted - can traffic get less targetted? My sites are highly targetted and that's why I've always done pretty well - I'm still being found for the same search phrases though (and alot of my traffic comes from articles anyway, which are very targetted).

I'm going to wait it out this week (and attribute lack of sales to the election) but if things don't improve by next week I'll be writing a very irate letter to Clickbank.

 

Google has recently implemented changes to their algorithm - which has resulted in website ranking changes.

This can effect how targeted your traffic is - because your site may now be getting traffic from google on less than targeted keywords.

My sales tanked the last week as well.

I know its targeted since its PPC so no algorithm changes or any of that possibility can be an attribute.

I think I might have to email CB daily as a new marketing tactic.
If I get 6 extra sales a week its worth it...

I could then open 10 accounts hire someone to send emails daily from each, and pick up an additional 60 sales...

I need to rest ....

 

Nonsense. That was a google glitch which occurred over the weekend but was fixed.

 

Clickbank is still having a glitch in their payment processing,i almost stopped promoting them now,chances are your sales not getting tracked,there are other networks also,try them out.

 

OMG, every time I hear that Clickbank is having problems, I just want to quit all this crap....

The only thing they have to do is to process payments properly, and they are having problems even with that.....CONSTANTLY.

 

Im too getting so depressed about clickbank these days... 1,327.00 hops and 1.00 sale the last 15 days.
Im far from a top cb promoter, but I remember getting some more sales before... :< I dont understand how anyone is making any money with cb any more :\
