On my site globalicwarming.com the revenue is 20$ per 1000 visits but On my Handlemistakes.com it is 1,3$ per 1000 visits, seems like I want to buy some adsense for the globalicwarming site :)

Hi there - I'm a new poster but long-time reader and fan of this forum.

To add my bit to the thread, we just added AdSense to a few of our pages to test it out.
Made the first $5 between Monday and Tuesday with only 183 hits one day and 73 the next!

I cant explain it and hope somebody could - how is AdSense calculated?
I've read plenty of threads here but I'm still confused.

Adsense is calculated per click .. 50% goes to google n the rest comes to u (appx) from what advertisers bid for. Ther may be many advertisers for the same jeyword and that's the primary reason for variations in earnings..

    That's what i thought, but 50%? 78%?
    It all sounds so high.
I was making my calculations on no more than 10-20% tops...
