i just checked my google webmasters tools and found out something weird. GWT shows that i have backlinks from 240 domains. this is weird because i'm sure i don't have that many backlinks for my fresh blog. about 200 of them are from .info domain with the same niche as my blog. to make it more interesting, some of those domains redirects to the same website. i'm afraid i google will consider me as a spammer and my seo campaign is hurt. any suggestion?

If they are redirecting to another domain, then those backlinks will go away, until and unless they have a page which is 301 redirected as that page might still exist on the web, even then google wont get to crawl that page to see your backlinks as the page is redirected, i dont think you would have problems of spam.

If someone has taken your article and posted it on other sites, that will be ok, providing your article on your site was cached first.

There are many reasons why one get links from other sites to which they have not linked to.
1)If the article you have posted in article directories are used by others in their own site you can get links from different domains, TLDs.
2)If at any stage you have used any automated submission services then you don't have any control over from where the links come
3)I have seen competitors link the sites to other bizzare sites in order to bring down the page rank as well as top SERP

    Solution

If you have links coming from bizzare sites, take them down ASAP.
If you have links in blogrolls that also contain other off topic links to sites in other verticals, take them down ASAP.
If you have links from sites that have nothing to do with your verticle, take them down ASAP.

I would suggest you to check all your landing pages from Google Analytics and take necessary action

As you said most of the link comes from the same niche as yours then there won't be a problem. Most of them may not be indexed or even if it's indexed it's devalued. But if you are not comfortable with those link or have slightest of doubt that these links are not going to help your site in anyway or some kind of spamming is going on then you can block them by doing the following.

    1) Send a polite mail to the webmaster or site owner stating your problem with a solid proof and make them to remove your link.
    2) If you can't find webmaster mail or if they don't respond to your mail then check who.is where there will be the phone no, address, and personal mail-id of the website owner or webmaster try to contact them with valid proof.
    3) If they don't respond to your polite mail, try to contact their webhosting company and state your problem.
    4) After all these efforts if they don't respond to your request, send them C&D threatening of legal action and report the same to Google.

Note: I would suggest you take all the valid proof of the link, check them from where it's coming, landing page etc before you approach them.
