WEIRD new google adsense format

Yes, maybe they are, namely how quickly we'd switch to YPN if that became the standard ad format!

 

I'm 99.5% positive that this isn't an adsense ad

ebay ads do n't pay more than $0.03

so just block it via adfilter

As far the format is concerned it is simply disgusting

I right clicked one of the links (to make sure something crazy wasn't happening, and each link is in fact click-able)

I'd have no reason to fake that.. If i were to create a fake adsense format, i'd make it look good... Unfortunately, I don't think i could make something that ugly, not even with my eyes closed.


thats another one of the ugly ads appearing on the page... only the white image and the search button are clickable

ads by google commonly does not display on my 728x90's... its veryyy common to not see the ads by google.. no point anyways everyone knows a 728x90 image is a friggin ad

 

these ads are showing up frequently on my site, i will not link to my site because.. this is digitalpoint, and because if I do, everyone will test the search that reads this... i dont feel like loosing my adsense account

 

huh? Ebay logo with search box is a google adsense ad?

also, funny thing about the first ad I posted, is my site has NOTHING to do with laptops/harddrives, or anything computer related

 

thanks for sending a PM. After checking you site, i got different results.

I dont see ANY ad at all. However the page has google adsense Leaderboard code, i checked that using view source.

So whats up? Ads not appearing?

 

like i said in the PM, everything appears fine for me from firefox and IE... and ad impressions are fine for the site today...

u must have your adblocker enabled

However if adsense is testing a new ad, improving the layout and style might just bring us a new positive AD

 

Perhaps Google does not want to be associate with such an ugly thing.

 

yeah, very cheap ad unit. I thought adsense is doing better with latest two new ad formats. but this one is horrible .

 

Could be related to their CPA program? I have not seen or heard of this any where else... thanks for the heads up.
