I have a page on my site that talks about an anime series called 'One Piece' but the problem is I don't get any ads relevant to the show, anime, manga, or anything at all. After installing the page it gives me random ads like; One Piece Swimsuit ads, injection molding nozzles, hydraulic doors, pouch washer, motorcycle stores, etc. I checked for those type of words throughout the page and nothing relating to those words. Then I tried using the code; <!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) -->One Piece<!-- google_ad_section_end --> To rule out that one word throughout the page, but I'm still getting the same ads. The page is plenty keyword rich, but I just can't figure this one out. Anybody have ideas?
hello i have a lil tip, others here might desagree but works 4 me, this is what u do, paste this code in2 whatever page u wanna twek the ads with <div style="position: absolute; left:160; top:900; width:001; height:001; overflow:auto;"> put all the keyworls here like i dunno manga cartoons anime and stuff add a lot of manga titles and related things </font> add atleast 25 keywords, it wont display on ur website but it will reflect on ur adds in arround 3 days so the sooner u doit the sooner it will happen.
Yeah, I agree. I wish targeting my ads was that simple but I've gotton in trouble just for even sticking my ads in an iframe, just because the name of the iframed document had any keywords in it they accused me of spamming. They're very strict.
How long is it since you up the page with advertisement? Sometimes, it takes longer than the usual timeframe to analyze your page and show relevent ad's. I guess the maximum is 24 hour.
Flamerid, There is not much in terms of adsense ads for "One Piece" right now. As you mentioned, the swimsuit is basically the main one that comes up. You have a few options available to you: 1. Include keywords such as anime, cartoon network, toonami, etc into your content. Adsense should pick up on them and begin to give ads a bit more relevant though not necesarily specific to One Piece 2. Run ads from Amazon for the dvd box sets (I assume they have it) 3. Run Ebay auction Ads - there are quite a few results. I wish I could post my affiliate link here on DP for you to sign up to AuctionAds but that is not allowed. I had a look and the results were very very nice. 4. ShareASale has some vendors who sell One Piece merchandise, so you may join up with them (eg http://www.strapya-world.com/index.html is one of the vendors there who deals with One Piece) 5. Alternatively, you could join with specific vendors directly like http://tokyotoys.com/index.php?main_page=affiliate_info There are always options - Right now Adsense isn't going to give you much for your One Piece keyword so I hope the above helps a little
Well, I just made it less than a day ago but I haven't made it public yet (which is why I decided not to link to it here). I just implemented the google ignore codes about 2 hours ago. The ads are still bizzare. $5 jonard, learn flow kit, chavenelle metalworks, free avatars, learn free mfg articles, speal move speacialists... Eck.
Thanks Claudek, that sounds like a good idea. I tried doing that 1st option a bit ago actually, I removed a lot of the One Piece keywords and used a lot of keywords referring to anime. The ads don't really seem to pick them up though, they're still trying to give me random ads mixed in with a rare 'anime ad'. I used to have a Naruto site, and I spammed the Naruto keywords a lot and it seemed to give me ads related to television shows and such.
As I have mentioned, Adsense won't give you any specific ads as there aren't any advertisers targetting that keyword (unless it is one of the generic Ebay ones). I checked the keyword naruto as well and only found 2 advertisers in adsense targetting that keyword. You will need to think beyond Adsense here. Also, try checking out some of the top Naruto and One Piece sites - If any are using Adsense, see what their results are. You will make more off affiliate marketing than Adsense.
