I came across a weird listing in Google when searching on the keyword term ‘blog’ on the 2nd page. There’s a listing for blog.xrefer.com. Not quite sure what that is but if you click on it, it comes up as Google English search, no redirects – when you visit the main domain, i.e. xrefer.com you’ll notice that it is a blog publisher company, based in the UK. So why is the blog.xrefer.com domain showing Google search engine – having checked the server headers, it is showing it as 200, which means that there’s no redirect to Google. Is this a annoyed book publisher revenging anger at Google for copying books? Anyone else seen this before?
