"Weird guest" problem

    I`m running SMF forum version 1.1.11.
    In last couple months when I see the list "who is online" i can see that there is one weird guest...Whenever he is online my forum acts strange, slows down, sometimes i getting "unable to connect"...

    The biggest problem is that his IP is "hidden".Actually I can only see: "Guest (0.0.0.0) Nothing, or nothing you can see..." And I can`t even ban him.

    Is this some kind of hack or sth else...And is there any way that I can track him and block him ones for all?

    I would really appreciate your help...

    Are u sure its someone and not some bot or server issues cosing this problem ??

    No, I think it`s not server issue cause I checked with my VPS support and they told me it can`t be some of them working on server or server issue couse everything looks fine.

    Every IP of any guest or member looks ok except this one 0.0.0.0 ...And this "guest" is there every day .

    there is nothing to be concerned about.
    whats happening is a guest is trying to view a thread or post that is no longer there, or their trying to view something their not supposed to see.

    don't worry about it, no big deal.

    It`s good to hear that...But can you please tell me how it`s possible that "exist" IP 0.0.0.0 or maybe how it`s possible that forum does not recognize the right IP behind this zeros?What can be a reason ?And can this "guest" be a reason that slows down my VPS cause in the moment when server stucks everything else looks normal but there is no way that any page loads?

    Or maybe there is sth else what can slow down server and in statistics about disc usage etc everything is fine...?
    I really don`t know where to look anymore but I know that members all the time asking what`s wrong... :confused:
