I knocked up a site which took bloody ages to get indexed! Hurray two weeks after submission it got indexed and was instantly receiving some kick ass traffic and had over 4k pages indexed then 3 days later the whole site slowly get un indexed WTF???

Can anyone help me out here lol.

My view is that perhaps the previous version of my domain got banned and that as fooked me up a bit lol is there anyway to determine if a domina is banned etc..????

"site:www.yourdomain.com" if it shows up in the results, it's not banned.

that many pages is a bit suspect but its not at all unusual for pages to get indexed, start showing up and ranking for a week then get dropped for a week, come back again etc..

Google's been doing this to us a lot recently. quite irritating, changed pages come online, start doing as theyre supposed to do, and then vanish again.

    wait it out.

Yep that is what happens, google indexs then takes them out.. They may come back over time.

Maybe it got un indexed because it's a new domain?
Try to build more backlinks and continue writing original content. You should get back in the index in a few weeks.

If its a new site, then you will see certain increase and decrease in search results placements

I have about 5 sites that were all bouncing of each other all diff content but around the same niche BUT all of a sudden each one has seem a huge drop in traffic and one of which got de indexed WTF lol well annoying I was doing about $40 a day between them all ahhhh well back to the drawing board I need a new niche.

BTW does google use the whois info on a domain? Can someone be penalized by making so many sites around the same subject and be detected through the whois info ???
