Right, I'm a little confused about what's happening in my adsense account. Say I have 2 sites, site a and site b. I used to have channels like 'site a : main', 'site a : nav ads' and the same for site b. I then changed the channel id in the side ads to be the same as the main, I renamed the spare channels with ready to use on new sites which I'm in the process of. I did this about 1-2 weeks ago and today I have 1-2 impressions on the new channels but I haven't actually got them live on any site I checked to see yesterday's results and I just have impressions from my 2 live sites so I'm not sure how this is possible. Anyone know any possibility? Is there a way to remove the channels and make brand new ones? Richard

My sites are using either joomla or wordpress so I use either a php include or the adsense plugin. I only have to change the one file and it will change them all :S
Something similar was happening to me. I had channels showing impressions, but I haven't used these channels on any of my websites anymore. I'm not sure whether someone stole my pub ID and placed it on some bogus websites or if it was a bug in adsense. Anyhow it was then that I started using "allowed websites" in adsense and the impressions disappeared. I suggest you to use that option if you don't do it already.
