Weird... but it's good!

Over the past week my earnings average $1-below. I said to myself maybe I could filter low paying ads earn more. I did just that and add atleast 50 URL's that I saw on overture bid tool pays $.10 and below. Sadly, it didn't work and my earnings dropped. I clear my filter and the next day, my earnings were high.

    Before: $1-below (10-20 clicks)
After filtering: didn't get into $1 (10-20 clicks)
After clearing my filter: $4 (14 clicks)

    Weird!

Mind elaborating on the URL filtering? I wouldn't mind optimizing my income a notch.

I assume you mean this tool:
    uv.bidtool.overture.com/d/search/tools/bidtool/

You search for your site's keywords, see who is advertizing on Adsense from the lower bidders for the KWs on Overture and filter those? Did I get the picture?

Don't mess up with them filters, concentrate on your content. That's the way you make money. Use filters only if the ads are really out of your niche.

I've never understood these guys... how much time are you wasting playing with your dumb filter? And all that just to earn 3 bucks??? Gee... go work on your site, gather more backlinks, add content, increase the number of visitors and the revenue will come by itself

Be in this to provide the web community with something they will want to read and money will follow. Those who are forever tweaking with ads and layout are in this to make a quick buck. You will fail.
