Weird... al I can understand is: nothing!

I have my website optimized for "anunturi gratuite" keyword. Also, almost all my anchors have this text, "anunturi gratuite", pointing to my website.

With all this, my results in Google are:

15th place for "divertisment" keyord - from 5.600.000 results;
50th place for "anunturi gratuite" keyword - from 5.300.000 results.

So how all this works? Because for "divertisment" keyword, it's not optimized at all... almost. And I'm on a good position.

And my target, "anunturi gratuite", is very optimized, a lot of links, a matching keyword anchor... and poorer results.

I'm really confused

 

It could be that the competition for the second keyword is not as firece as the first.

As with anchor text it helps with regards to a keyword but adds power to your site overall as well so if google has decided to rank you for antoher keyword your power would be valid for that keyword too.

It is bad or good for SEO to build links to my website, just with the targeted keyword as anchor's text?

I mean, if I use "anunturi gratuite" as a link all over the place in my "link building campaign", it is good?

 

You need to be careful not to have too many links with the same anchor text - google can see it isn't natural linking patterns.

You can certainly be penalised for having too many links with the same anchor text, especially on a new site. At least 50% of links, probably more, should be variations in the anchor text, links to internal pages, links using just your site name and so on - because that is what happens in 'the real world' when people link to you.

Yes, I have 15.000 backlinks on my index page, and just 100-200 on my internal pages.
I think here is the problem, I wonder now where/what links to change

 

try add more keywords "anunturi gratuite" + "another word"

 

ok so what i could understand from what you mentioned.... anunturi gratuite is a highly targeted keyword and therefore your site shows up on the 50...something position... also one of the reason could be over optimizing... adding quality content along with few targeted keywords sprinkled here and there works... but over optimizing your site will lead you no where... try targeting a less searched but Relevant traffic keyword/key phrase... at least it will generate some quality traffic for you rather then no traffic at all... ha!!!! too much of talking from my end.... Yep, thanks guys, I will try some variations of my targeted keywords, I will tell you if it worked!

 

Google wants to give you a surprise by ranking you well for a keyword for which you never wanted to be ranked well

 

I don't want that surprize I worked hard enough all this time for just one keyword, and then I find out that other keywords are ranked better

 

You should continue to build backlinks and you will get a better ranking for the search term you are targeting. However, it is very important that you mix-up the anchor text links you use, doing this will help you to rank well for other search terms in your niche and it will also prevent you from being penalized by google.

 

Well, is not really a niche, it's a very strong competition on that term

If I keep some links with "anunturi", and other links with "anunturi gratuite", it's better? I mean, it's not really a variation, but a cut in the keyword
