Weird AdSense stats

Hi, I am running a phpArcade site with games, images, and embedded youtube videos and there is something wrong with the AdSense stats...

Here is the server stats for yesterday:

    Successful requests: 3,411
Average successful requests per day: 3,517
    Successful requests for pages: 2,237
Average successful requests for pages per day: 2,306
    Failed requests: 59
    Redirected requests: 17
    Distinct files requested: 2,281
    Distinct hosts served: 661
    Data transferred: 18.02 megabytes
Average data transferred per day: 18.59 megabytes

The phpArcade admin stats shows 1157 games played...

To me this means that there must be at least 2000 page views registered by AdSense but the AdSense account shows only 61 page views...

Does anyone have any idea as of what might be happening here? I would appreciate any input.

    Thank you.

I'd think Proxy surfers have found your site... and are displaying their adsense instead of yours. (google will only allow technically, one adsense account to be shown per page)

Proxy sites load their frame first, thereby, loading their adsense account before the site they are framing.. google see's/senses their adsense account ID before yours and defaults to the first to load.

This is a good explanation and I think you must be correct as I cannot see any other reasonable explanations for this.

I would not want to use the "break out of frames" code as this way I would lose the visitors. I think I better try using some other ways of monetizing the site.

    Thank you.

And why is that losing your visitor?
I just put it on and it seems to be working...

Actually, if your being proxied, then you are essentially hosting another sites bandwidth for them. They are making the profits, they are getting alexa'd, they are getting the traffic. The site being proxied loses all around.

Breaking out of frames will do no less than ensure that users are YOUR users, and not some leach proxy site owners.

Now that you made me think about it :) ... Why would they access my site through the proxy in the first place? The site is one month old and I doubt any schools had time to block it yet.

I am convinced. Will implement the break out of frames code tomorrow and report if there will be any change in AdSense stats in a couple of days.

    Thank you.

I think you misunderstood my use of the term frames, Godmode. When a proxy sites visitors visit you, the proxy site "frames" your website. Your site having frames is irrelevant.

I c but i dont get any traffic from proxy..its either google 75% and 15% direct and rest is all from digg/reddit/links etc

But still this drop in impressions? I have also seen that impression are now counted as average and not the total...is it that way?
